Same here - loved when it came out but the £180 scared me away...amazed that the price dropped so low and so quickly too

Yeah I wanted one for a while, managed to snag a boxed one from a friend who was selling of his collection.
Would love to see a vintage x wing done in this scale, or a snowspeeder, doubt we will see anything this big again

Oh I know the feeling, even considering passing on my vintage stuff and moving completely over to modern with some hot toys thrown in, not sure yet. An opportunity to pick one up for a very reasonable price has come popped up so I might just dip my toes in and see if I like them enough.

Hmmm

Got my eye on a couple more hot toys figures, have to see what happens, I've sold a few items to buy this one, worth it I think even as a custom it should hold some value
Good luck with your collecting mate

Well, Guess I just had to do it. Picked up the Hot toys Rey and BB8 for a very very good price, the figure hasn't even been out of its packaging. I may pass it on and put the money towards something from Rogue one ill just sit on it a while and decide later but for now ill enjoy it for it is, the quality is definitely there though for sure and I can see myself picking up a few more.

Ill stick some photos up when I get a chance along with this weeks finds. 8)

All my VC MOCs and vehicles are boxed away in storage (just don't have room to display them)

Decided to get them out today just to enjoy comparing them to the original boxes.

My daughter is focusing on buying hot toys - she obviously can't add to her collection as often as she'd like (they really are bloody expensive) but the ones that she has are nothing short of amazing.
Definitely got me thinking about them 8)

Yes its really making me think twice now about vintage collecting as a whole these days, and shifting completely to modern VC for the movies I like and hot toys for the specific characters I like the most. hmmmm

She sold of a lot of her collection to buy Hot Toys and doesn't regret it.

Sorry for rubbish pictures - I had to quickly run in and out of her room while she was in the shower

Fantastic collections, both yours and hers. My word forgot how big that royal starship is, very nice. Obi One and Jyn are on the top of my wants list for HT figures. 8)

Nice pick ups Grinchy, Not sure I like the choice of cardback for Yavin Luke but I guess they are limited in some respects when it comes to available stills to use, still a nice figure though.

GB94, dont suppose you could sneak a few close ups of the mythos Obi wan?, really tempted to try and pick one of these up at some point. 8)
