Group C sees the first former finalist take up the challenge, in fact he was the runner up in 2019 as he fell at the final hurdle to Luke Bespin. The Solid Dome R2D2 has always done well in the group stages, the only time he has failed to progress from the opening round was 2016. In 2017 he was a quarter finalist and in 2015, 2017 and 2018 he made the third round, in 2014 he fell in the second round but the rest of Group C will be well aware of just how good he is during this phase and he will undoubtedly be looking to match last years success.
Looking through this group you would probably fancy his chances, Leia Hoth, although a nice figure has never really made a fist of it in this competition. Lando Skiff, Death Star Droid and Imperial Gunner have all had their moments over the years but not often enough to consider threats, and Bossk, although a popular figure amongst a few forum members has also failed to shine.
Saying all that though it's only Weequay from this line up that has never cleared the group stage on at least one occasion and that will probably be the same again this year.
From the outset R2 looks the favourite, second place will be anyones guess.
