My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
Evening am in the middle of clearing the old family home out of all my old toys Star Wars figures 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 man train sets Lego and have a collection of Star Wars figures that were mine back in the 80’s
Am thinking of selling everything off, would anyone on the forum offer advise and help with the prices for the following figures and vehicles.
I have matched the accessories up with the figures hopefully correctly.
Thank
You

Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
great collection... i will say what most others may say... be sure you want to sell, lots of memories tied up in SW, however if you do, if all weapons are origional id say id selling indivdually about 200 expect less if selling in ine go... re vehicles not my thing but mayge another 120 ish..
Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
Morning thanks for the advise and help, part of me says sell and part of me says keep a couple like Vader and Luke sky walker for memories as there’s two of those.
Yes all the weapons are original this was mine from back in the 80’s and all the figures along with the weapons were placed in the falcon in the loft although there are a couple of weapons missing.
I was really chuffed I totally forgot all the weapons were there too when I had to move everything from the old family home.

Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
Would say the figures are worth at least £450 if sold individually.
Collecting SW since 1980.

Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
Assuming all the weapons and accessories are original, good condition, minimal paint loss, stiff limbs and assuming no rare COO's or variations.
From left to Right, top to bottom
Row 1: 18,35,15,5,15,13 = £95
Row 2: 22,22,18,20,15 = £97 DSD looks to have shoulder paint loss
Row 3: 20,40,50,60,40 = £210 Blue Lightsaber rarer of the 2
Row 4: 20,18,18,15,15 = £86 Missing Lightsaber tips
Row 5:10,25,25,10 = £70 Assuming C3PO is fixed limbs
Row 6: 12,15,25,10,5 = £67 Nikto with weapon is the rarest skiff guard (other than Barada)
biker scout = £25
Total £650 excluding p&p
Works out at about £21 per figure if sold individually and based on my experience of recent eBAY sold prices from UK sellers.

Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
Think those prices are a bit high (I know I wouldn’t pay that) but I guess prices have been going crazy in lockdown.
Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
I base it on not wanting to pay those prices either ... and 9 times out of 10 getting out bid as a result.
Maybe Nikto is a bit high, possibly £18 on average, just spent too long last night trying to locate one and not wanting to pay too much for a boring Skiff guard.
To put it in context the Luke Jedi Blaster alone typically goes for £25 to £30 based on recent sales.

Wow thanks for taking the time to look at the figures and price them too, that’s amazing the value, there was a collector in Norwich who runs a wanted add on facebook and offered me £100 for the lot for everything you see and ran on about not ripping people off. Am really glad I joined the Star Wars forum the knowledge on here is brilliant.
Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
No problem, as others have said, prices are always a little subjective and you'd probably see less of a return as a job lot, but don't be sold short.
If you have a search for the names of some of your figures on ebay and add "vintage", "complete" & "original" , you can then tick "sold items" and that will give you a decent idea of prices for similar to what you have to sell.

Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
This is max I’d want to pay even at inflated prices now and that’s if they are excellent to near mint. The Rebel Soldier for example looks pretty worn and dirty so I have adjusted price accordingly.
Still a whole lot more than the £100 you’re offered.
Row 1: 10,20,12,5,10,11 = £68
Row 2: 20,20,12,20,15 = £87 DSD looks to have shoulder paint loss
Row 3: 16,40,40,60,35 = £191 Blue Lightsaber rarer of the 2
Row 4: 15,13,13,12,12 = £65 Missing Lightsaber tips
Row 5:8,18,20,10 = £56 Assuming C3PO is fixed limbs
Row 6: 10,12,20,10,5 = £57 Nikto with weapon is the rarest skiff guard (other than Barada)
biker scout = £20

Re: My vintage Star Wars collection values to sell
Yeah definitely don’t go with the £100. You Have some nice figures there mate and one of them Luke Jedi is worth at least £60 on its own the blue saber one. Think the other is atound £50 and some of the others Are between £15-£30 price range then you have the vehicles. And don’t think they will have any problem selling.
