I recently dug out and set up my old N64 but seem to have mislaid my copies of Rogue Squadron, Shadows Of The Empire and Episode 1 Racer. Can anyone recommend any trust worthy traders? I'd like to avoid ebay if possible.

eBay is fine for video games, unlike MOCs or loose figures it's quite hard to go wrong. Althouh avoid anything from China as they are all fake reproductions. You should be able to pick all of those up for £5-10 each from UK sellers. Worth asking for photos of the PCB connector (the gold contacts that go in the console slot) to see how worn they are, avoid games that look like they've been taken to with an angle grinder, once the gold coating has worn off the games will struggle to work.

Top man! Cheers, Edd. I'm assuming those are the prices for just the cartridges?

Don't forget to pick up Battle for Naboo if you like the first Rogue Squadron, it's really just more of the same. Also, the opening Lucas Arts Logo slams down and kills Jar Jar every time you turn the game on... if you're into that.

Hi
Should these Star Wars n64 games be played with the Expansion pack?
Still good to play without?
Thanks

Shadows of the Empire isn't an expansion pack game, all the others are. Not sure if they upgraded Shadows of The a Empire to be compatible with it. You can still play all the none compatible games with the expansion pack in though.

From memory (lol) they should be fine. Don't think many games actually needed the expansion pack in the end- only remember Perfect Dark needing it.

Perfect dark is a game I have never played. I got a N64 late 97' and loved Goldeneye, bought the N64 Magazine every month for about 2 years and it always seemed to mention perfect dark as the follow on to Goldeneye, think it was RARE who made them both. I went travelling before it got released and that was that! Still has a kind of special status for me, evan more when you guys mention it.
