Hi!
I'm new to this board so sorry if I'm not following the guidelines for posting.
I was at an auction today and bid for four star wars figures, 2 C-3PO and 2 Sand People. They are in mint condition with minor noticable "wear & tear" ,according to my standards anyway :). All are unpunched. I've made out that they are part of the 12B series.
Like I said, I'm quite a noob regarding this kind of stuff so please tell me if you need more info or pics.
I bought all four for 1100 :- SEK (about 125 $)

I just googled them and saw that there are many fakes. I watched this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGahuO9jRiE and from what I can see the seal is not fake. It has the "waffle" texture that she is talking about at the end of the clip.

So, are you asking if these are fake? They look ok to me, although the seals on the Threepios look a bit suspect, but there are legitimate seals that look like that. The fact that you paid £80 for 4 Palitoy 12 backs makes me believe something is off, but again I see no real red flags. If these are genuine, then you have just scored the deal of a lifetime! Each would be worth £400-600, again if genuine.

I'd like to know more about this auction, where was it? Where there other figures that sold for peanuts? I cannot emphasise enough how cheap these sold for - even if they are reseals you did incredibly well.

I believe that the OP has already sold these on to a couple of Scandinavian collectors - without revealing the exact amounts she sold them for, a very healthy profit was made :D

Yeah, we sold all four of them and they were in fact genuine:).

We bought them at an auction at a flea market. There weren't anymore toys there except for some Nintendo games. Feels really crazy that we found them out in the middle of nowhere:)
