Help with R2 pop up saber and Vader. Pic heavy

Managed to pick up these 2 in the wild today

Circumstances that they were bought under leads me to believe they are bona fide pieces, but would like some opinions

First up R2 pop up saber and r2 unit

Feels and looks like the real Mcoy to me can I have some opinions on the saber please?

Vader has a very thick cape and the saber has a stress mark where the tip meets the hilt looks ok to me but again would welcome some opinions

The only thing that I know about fake pop up sabres is that you can draw with them as they are often painted.
Other than that Mike, I hope that there all good, but someone else will need to chip in with more experience than me.

Yeah, that's an original kenner EPM saber. If you put it in a bowl of water and push it under, it should sink.

You can clearly see the sprue cut on the end of the hilt, the injection point half way up and the only known repro sabre to have an EPM is very noticeable by the angled hilt and the EPM is extremely faint.
