Woooooah!! Nothing much happened on here over Christmas then an explosion of goodies.

Not really into TriLogos really, but those 6 look the nuts. Especially as I have no idea what all that Meccano/Macau/Palitoy stuff is. I do have one Trilogo that I nearly sold for much less than it was worth, as I didn't know it was a rarer one - AFA 80 Pop Up Saber R2. The buyer let me have it back, so I'll be keeping it.

Lovely Palitoy Han Hoth. On my list, but funds seriously depleted, so may be some time that or other 30 back Palitoys arrive at my door step again.

Amazing story Grant. Beech's Toy Shop was in Wales right? Wonder what stuff is squirrelled away in the loft of that cinema? Lol. Congrats on the VCJ.

Minty mint EV & IG there!

Some nice pieces already for 2016.

Went to my local cinema to watch TFA again. They gave me a TFA ticket booklet and from their archive a August 1983 ROTJ Ticket booklet. I also got a free viewing as it was my forth at this cinema.

I asked about the other star wars banners, but unfortunately they were all taken.

It was exciting watching the film as I was meant to be 'working from home'. At the end of the film I got approached by a boy, I guess the one who had requested all the banners. He walked over and gave me a TFA cinema Quad poster.

A little bit of history on my local cinema. It is the oldest in Wales (102 years old) and was going to be closed down. Because of community support, the cinema was saved, refurbished, yet keeping its vintage theatre feel, and was awarded Cinema of the Year by Screen Awards.

The success of the cinema means they are now going to add a second screen. I'm dead proud of this community project. It may not have the best screen, or the best sound, but the atmosphere and vintage history makes it far more glowing cinema experience than a multiplex.

Bottles of coke are £1, box of popcorn is £1.50 etc...£4.90 adult, £2.50 on wednedays. I love it.

Holy Moly - awesome Stuff y'all got there. I really like the Trilogos to watch, but hopefully Ican resist the dark side not to start collect them as well.
Heres my first item of the new year. Found it in al ittle web-shop in NL, which normally sells vintage furniture. Sadly, it was the only vintage MOC.
But I liked the tinkered card from "inge" who whishes me to enjoy my new Star Wars Figure :)

Great 30 back Han and has anyone else noticed how the A backs have this style of footer but the B backs have the V shaped ones? I think it's the same for the 30 back Hoth Stormtrooper.

Nice :D

Ian

No I have never clocked that b4 Ian :!:
Ur eagle eye again :p But then again how many 30B back Han Hoths do u see :!:

I never knew that either - and it's a great tip as I never remember whether I'm after an A or B. From now on I'll just look at the footer!

As ever some fantastic pickups and great to see Grant buying again :D

I've even noticed that the V style footer on the small hard and large head Han Palitoy 12 backs differ slightly with one having a softer bend than the other ( I think I've observed this in all but maybe one Large head).

It could be seen as a little sad noticing things like this but for me every little difference means something :D

Congrats to just get one. I held out myself until one came up for sensible money. I got a Takara, had him graded, got a 60. Thought that was harsh. He should have got a 70.

Some fantastic pieces posted, this hobby is amazing :D

I very rarely post in this section, but had to put these up, I apologise for the length of post in advance....
I received these over Christmas due to Frank ( Frunkstar) organising an auction of some of my pics which he took care of all of the posting off , where he then proceeded to selflessly source all of these items for me , and send them to me.
I cannot thank Frank enough and everyone involved enough, I am the happiest person I know.. :D

First

2 wonderful pieces, love them to bits,

Last but by no means least this next piece has been a Grail for me for a long time, which I thought I would not have for many years, I have been collecting the first 12 figures for an age, and have always wanted a stand, the first 12 mail away, so to receive the stand and ice the cake, also with a fantastic acrylic case.

Pictures speak a thousand words.......
