Hello!

Much of my collection has now been untouched for long, and with it my knowledge disappeared into the mist. With a planned wedding and everything that costs there, so I have therefore decided to sell some of my boxes to help pay for it.

Therefore it would be grateful if I could get help to put an approximate price value (in real terms for the sale, rather than the list price) for the following two MIBs.

* ROTJ One-Man the Sail Skiff - Tri Logo version. The box in very good condition, a few marks on the edges. Still seald, but not sure if its should counts as factory seald as there are 2 pices of tape on one side - but from what I can see its the same kind of tape, so I think it was seald that way on the factory?)

* ROTJ Hoth Wampa. I know and remember that this version is rarer than TESB The Wampa, but how much and what does it cost?

The box is a little more worn than it is the case with the Sail Skiff, but still a very nice copy. The major flaw flaw is that the tape has been released on the top and brought with him cardboard pressure. The Wampa has never left its box.

Hopefully I managed to attach images to the post below.

Hi

The Wampa is quite rare... Not sure of a value but if it has never been removed sounds good.

Skiff- is the bag inside and are all inserts there? My mate had one in his shop before it closed and he had it for £25. That one was played with and had no instructions or sticker sheet.

Good luck with the wedding.

Captainsolo1978: Thanks for your good luck wishes and advice!

Regarding the Sail Skiff, its still factory seald (or atleast I think it should be counted as that)! Realized that it's not really was found in my first post, so I've edited it. I have done some searchs and are tempted to set a salevalue for around 55 GBP based on prices on e-bay for opend but complete, do you think that thats in the ballpark?

Hopfully someone will have a bit insight about the Wampa-price also.

It being opened, I'd say it very much depends on the condition of the Wampa itself. There's often discolouration/plastic degradation/glue yellowing involved with this creature, even when in the box. Also, does the main flap have a crease along it's length? This is also a factor in determining its value.

Also, could you send us a pic of the orange sticker on top of the Skiff box? I may be wrong, but looks like it's a Scandinavian import sticker, which would definitely add to its value for some.

It sure is! Both the Skiff and the Wampa has one (the Wampa on the bottom of the packing), but i was not aware that it affected the value. I be glad to take a picture if still needed?

Yes, the main flap sadly have a crease along it's length, parallel to the box. Regarding the condition of the Wampa, should I remove it from the box to take a photo of it?

If the Wampa box is sealed, DO NOT REMOVE IT FROM THE BOX!!!

Would love to see a pic of the orange sticker!

Edit: Jesus I need to wake up.... Just noticed you said the box is open....

Here are the pictures then.

If we start with the actual Wampa as it looks to be in very good condition. It feels very evenly white (reason that it looks darker between the legs and under the arm depends almost exclusively on the light), and the only thing I really react to is that the legs look more glossy than the rest of the figure.

Now I have none other to compare to, so if this is something out of the ordinary I do not know.

The joints in the arms still have good springs.

The second picture shows the the two orange stickersen (both exclusively in Swedish) In addition, I managed to get the crease between the box and the main flap on the photo. Along with the tape released so should probably be considered as the box's defective.

Speaking of tape, also attaching a picture of the dual use on the Sail Skiff. However, I feel absolutely convinced that it is the same kind of tape that has been used on both, and I suspect strongly that it has been done at the factory, perhaps because they somehow cracked the first piece.

As above, I have managed to put a price on the Sail Skiff to 55 GBP, and I guess I'm not completely wrong there, because no one has protested.

The biggest question now is, what to put for the approximate price on the Wampa?

tundra9: Ha! Just the reaction I had also had a few times! People have had figures for sale, be it either vintage Star Wars or modern He-Man Classics. However, it has "just taken out of the packaging to photograph it, because it was so difficult otherwise ..."

I usually cry a little inside at that point ...

The Wampa is a beauty, so no worries there. Normally an Wampa in ROTJ Bi-logo box in this condition I think would maybe fetch around £90 (I bought my mint sealed one for around £220 a few years ago). The Swedish sticker confuses things a bit however. The value really depends on what a niche collector would give for it.

Yust want you to know that the Wamps is up for sale in another thread now.

Thanks to you all whom has given me advice in the thread ant PMs
