I have been down around that area quite a few times it's my favourite county in Ireland. It definitely does have a mystical feel around that area. I don't know if it's because of the history of the Monks but it's definitely an experience. That would be a good little trip for anyone who likes a bit of an adventure. If you like a Beer you could have a few and enjoy a 'Trad Session' the night before followed by a boat trip the next day to Jedi Island.
