Very cool, Ricky. The art, descriptions and boxes make these very worthy items for any collection. Great to see them properly :)

Cheers Simon. Glad you share the love/appreciation for these cool pieces. Yeh hollow tubes for sure Aid!
Now for the next figure of the week:
Ben (obi-won)Kenobi
Text on cup reads as follows:-
"Is a Good and just Warrior of the Old Republic
He possesses a Special Knowledge of the Force "
Love the fact he's described as a "Just Warrior " not the description that always comes to mind when I think of Ben but of course we all know this fella could use a Saber!
Think the art work here is great as usual and nice colours
Hope u enjoy it
Cheers Ricky ⚒

Next up is Grand Moff Tarkin . Not much out there for this cHap so nice item. Text on cup reads as follows- " Is the Imperial Governer of the Deart Star,an Enormous Battleship That is Capable of Destroying An Entire Planet with One of its Blast" .
As before the colours are cool and Death Star is also shown so double bubble
Enjoy ,Ricky ⚒

Next up is that cool looking droid, the Death Star Droid. Art work as usual rather smart and text reads .....
"One of many Droids used by the Empire.
He is easily recognised by his Fearful Insect-like Face ."
Think this one is particularly cool as it includes a picture of he's face enlarged next to a picture of him standing /posing . Plus the added bonus of it featuring the Death Star itself .

Hammerhead- super cool art work here
Text reads "is one of several Star Wars cantina characters .Hes brain is in the hump of he's neck and he breathes through the opening of he's chest ."
I mean that's what you call some serous vintage Star Wars info ! " Breathes through he's opening of he's chest " and "he's brain is on the hump of he's neck"! Love it !

Firstly , thanks Miscuss5555 for your words and also letting know someone is reading this post ! Lol.
Anyways this weeks figure is the one and only ....The Jawas.
Super cool and probably one of my favourite Dixie cups. Art work includes 3 Jawas and shows them using there Blaster. Also includes our favourite little droid R2D2 as well , so you get Two for the price of one !
Text reads as follows " THE JAWAS..are the Scavengers of the Planet Tatooine who collect Robots and Scrap Metal To Sell or Trade. They transport their Cargo in A Giant Sandcrawler."

Re: Dixie Cups- Scenes from film-Leia & Torture Robot

Postby Shaky_BobaFett » Wed Dec 27, 2017 9:10 am

Cheers bosk70! Didn't know u could check views of a post?! How u do that geezer?! Lol.
Now for the next cup !
We now left the figure focus and onto "scenes from the film" .... First one is the scene with Leia organa being tortured for info from Darth Vader using the Torture robot !
So you get 3 characters here in super bright colours as usual. Not sure if a Torture robot focus collector out there but if so this is probably one of a few items you could find with it appearing on !
Vader and leia look great as well in my opinion .
Text reads at bottom of cup :-
" Darth Vader orders the Torture Robot to commence in it ... prime function!"
So there you have it, my first scene Dixie cup of the Star Wars box !

So next up is the scene where the landspeeder is stopped by Stormtroopers at mos Eisley . It has Ben,Luke,C3PO and R2D2 and off course Stormtrooper all pictured on the cup . Great colours as usual as expected with these Cups. Text reads as follows :-
"Luke and Ben are stopped by Imperial Soliders At Mos Eisley Spaceport."
Enjoy

Wasn’t sure what I was looking at here. Hammerhead or an exotic looking artists’s sculpture

I like the Star Wars Dixie cups, the graphics on the boxes are very attractive.

Here are some pictures of mine. They are all complete with the cups. I will be doing a post in January on my blog http://www.retrotoyinfo.co.uk on Vintage Star Wars party items, cups, plates, napkins
