Some nice sets there Monkey_roo. I love the Star Wars lego line but at the moment I am concentrating on my MOC run.
Will have to dig out what ive got in the loft and take a few pictures after putting them together.
Also Lego seem to be producing sets at a fast pace at the moment, cant keep up with the amount of new ones.

Keep them coming Monkey_roo

That is ****ing rediculous and also i feel dodgey. Look at the guys feedback. Already sold it once for over £1400 but apparently mucked the buyer around so the buyer didnt get the item. Something a bit fishy about it I think. I have one of these and would love it if it sold for this.

Although Jabba's Palace is pricey I'm glad I bought it, teamed up with the desert Skiff (which is well worth the money) they look great together. Can't wait for the Rancor Pitt addition!!

Palpatine's Arrest is now available at retail for £59.99 at Lego Shops and online at UK Lego.com. Just rung up my local branch who stated they had loads in the other day, so popping down tomorrow to pick one up :)

Palpatines Escape is good fun, really enjoyed making it and some great figures...
The Olympic chaps in the background are busy being mounted for a picture frame, might post that later, but my skills with mounting and wood are limited so not sure how it will turn out :)

Bought Palpatines Arrest, bit smaller than I imagined but still very pleased with the set - displays really well and overall would recommend.

Below are some pic's of the forthcoming Rancor Pitt. It appears it can be connected benneth Jabbas Palace so Luke, Gam Guard and Oola can fall into the Rancor's den and await their fate......

Available Dec/Jan 2013

Agreed the two sets connecting will be great, that said it will need a fair amount of customising to get it looking like a single set - but that's the fun part...

Not usually one to brag about a find but I was walking past my local toyshop this morning and spotted this in the window so I popped in to ask if they had any spares, which they didn't. But very kindly the chap just gave me the one from his window anyway. Happy days, not only was that a nice thing to do, but this is my first 'movie style' promo poster that didn't come in a set :)

Inspired by Lego Poster Luck earlier i though i would build the only Episode I set I have - the pod racers. for anyone that bought the originals back in 1999 all i can say is these are something else... The detail is light-years ahead of the earlier incarnations, the build so much more fun and the lock in place base units and use of clear technics bricks is great. As with all the new figures the five included are great. The Watto and Sebulba are worth it alone and with the current price on Amazon being close to 50% off RRP this is well worth it, so good in fact that i even watched most of EPI while i was building the set (and it really isn't as bad as some would make out) but i am now actively watching Amazon and as soon as the new Sith Infiltrator and Gungan Sub hit 40% off i will be buying them as well...

There are some Lego sets in a local charity shop to me if anyone is interested. I can get what sets they are, only thing is they were a bit pricey if I remember, £45ish.

^ £45 depends on the set, for a Death Star - Bargin, for an Endor Battle pack - not so much :)

Went back in today, no death stars unfortunately. The sets they have are as follows, all at £45:

Palpatine's Shuttle Lego No. 8096
Sith Infiltrator Lego No. 7663
General Grievous Star Fighter Lego No. 8095
Tie Defender Lego No. 8087

If anyone is interested im more than happy to check they are fully complete and get them for you and post on.

Well the RRP on Emperors shuttle was £60 so not too bad
7663 only cost £25 when it was new so that might be a bit high
8095 was £45 when new
8087 was £40 new

The shuttle is a fair price but not in the market for any EPIII sets - Thanks for the info though.

As i cant be bothered to post twice i wanted to share my latest lego creation - mostly because it is Olympic focused and is for the kids, well, one each for the kids and one for me. Not Star Wars i know, but it is Lego and it took me all night to put all three together...

They are pretty neat. Nice reminder of a great Olympics. Gonna try and get some tickets for the Paralympics.

No prObs about the info, I'm hoping if they don't sell they'll reduce them a bit.

So back in May i posted the first few images of the quite massive Hogwarts Castle i am building, in the intervening months we have moved on a bit with the bulk of the building complete. To the already 'playable' areas, Great hall, Dumbledore office, library, sick room, Divination classroom, Remus's classroom and Sirius Blacks Prison, we now have:
Chamber of Secrets, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw Tower (well, the base at any rate), the great hall, the greenhouses and the foundations for the room of requirements and Slytherine all in place.
Gave up counting the pieces months ago but I am vaguely aware we are somewhere very north of 50,000 pieces at this stage.
A lot more to go, i recon another 4-6 months of work just for the castle (Hagrids Hut, The Owlrey, The ruins and the boathouse still to go) and then onto Hogsmead (if I have the space...)
The more astute among you will notice that i kept things a little SW focused as my previously featured AT-AT got bored attacking Echo Base and found a new target...
I also just aquired the nine fellowship figues and Indiana Jones and Henry Jones who will at some point be found hiding out somewhere (along with a few Ewoks and Stormtoopers etc)...
