Some superb items showing up on here recently. Particularly Mr Sanderson and that PBP card. I think I had enquired about it but was unable to pay immediately so it ended up elsewhere. I should have known where it would go. :D

Anyway, thought I would do a little update myself. I didn't think I had brought much since my last post.

The rather awesome Lego shuttle was a birthday present from the Mrs, and the escape pod from the inlaws. Big shout to Roundster for the miscard. An honourable man of his word who could have taken a backdoor offer but stuck to our deal all the way through. I seemed to also have picked up a nice selection of trilogos in various condition, as well as some minty loose figures. Farthest from purchases included the Lando, Boushh, Luke Jedi and this Hothtrooper. One of two PBP Hothtroopers I picked up recently. This one was in better condition and not spotted by the dealer so at £20, somewhat of a bargain.

I also had not one but two loose Ledy pickups. The Lando without the weapon, a Facebook bargain at £17 posted with a genuine Ledy helmet, but the pick of the bunch there for me is this fantastic little guy. Big thanks to Nick for this little guy:

With his sad little almond eyes, he loves being with his brethren:

And following up on the Mexican love, I picked this up from the Facebook auction page. I don't normally go in for card backs, but this one was in such great condition, as well as being one of my favourite backs I decided to go for it. Now I just need a loose ERG to display with it.

Finally, because I took it, a pic of my little miscard run:

Happy with my baggies :D

Nick,

I'm interested in the DSD baggie - I have one just like it but was told that he never came in that style of baggie. I thought I may have been a palitoy baggie - do you have any background on him?

Cheers
Pat

Sadly I have no extra info. Was in a box of baggies at FF. Not seen the DSD before so that's why I picked him up. How he survived being uncracked in the box of them I don't know.

Miscards wow
LL ERG cardback wow

Yep my favourite cardback too. I might have to go the same way as unlikely I'll ever have the actual MOC.

I picked these two up on ebay this week - delivered yesterday in a box thankfully! Yoda's bubble is cracked but he can't be removed - han is dented, but no cracks.

DSD baggie is Palitoy for sure, cant recall if its a K or Q style.
Check out Franks awesome baggie guide under the ref library section.

t's not often you get the chance to pick up your grail twice. And I don't mean to over use the term grail. But this week it happened :)

Leia pink poncho carded sample on ROTJ 48 back Imperial Hoth Stormtrooper card. And side by side with my other grail. Leia pink poncho unpainted first shot with non production hat and blaster for good measure. Interestingly the hair on carded sample figure is non production brown although the blaster and hat appear to be production like.
