Just wanted to say a massive thank you to SWFUK member db94 for his kind generosity. We recently concluded a transaction for a ROTJ Millennium Falcon box and Colin gave me plenty of time to get the money together. We got chatting about things and I mentioned my recent illness. I also mentioned that my son had returned to collecting. Colin subsequently sent me some lovely additional figures for both my son and myself. I am absolutely bowled over by this gesture of selflessness. It seems to be a recurring theme amongst members on here. Being the recipient of such generosity is truly humbling. I for one am proud to be a part of this community and without trying to embarrass Colin too much, once again offer my sincere thanks.

Cheers

Anthony

Well done Colin - great to read that the collecting spirit is still strong, and not everyone is out to fleece their fellow collector :)

Anthony - you are more than welcome mate, you're a lovely bloke and it's been great exchanging messages, finding out more about you and your collection

Thanks for the shout out (and additional comments from others) just following the example of many others on here. We're a proper community for sure - and I'm so happy to be part of it. If we can help each other out then we do - adding something extra as a wee surprise, helping track down a grail piece, paint a picture, write a poem, sell an item at a loss, share info and a hundred other examples I've seen over the years on here.

Yes it's great when you read things like this. Some people get blinded sometimes and have tunnel vision only for themselves. It's great being on a forum like this where we can have a bit of craic and enjoy our stories and help each other.
I never have had any dealings with db94 but he sounds like a top bloke to have in the collecting community :)

Sorry to highjack the thread Anthony , Colin I found yet another capture log in a boxed slave one I picked up in the early 90's in a market shop so I know it was sealed in there from new. It was non colour I thought it was a photo copy maybe Palitoy was cost cutting by then, but its very clear and appears to be printed and not just a photo copy ??? wonder if there are any other variants out there or have I completed the focus  ??
