Are you actively adding to your collection, your collection is complete or are you thinking about selling it?

Only thing I collect now Star Wars wise is the novels. Lost the bug for collecting everything else Star Wars a few years ago.

My main passion now is retro gaming. Loved it for years but putting more effort into it lately.

I'm still collecting, but the few items I still want are tough to find in the condition I want them in.

I'm still actively looking but very selective about items I'd like to add. Haven't bought anything in ages.

Always on the lookout, but have not had much luck over the last year /18 months. Plus we had been keeping money as my youngest was learning to drive, which due to work and Kayaking ,we don`t have a car -only vans, so his own car finally arrived in September (only 6 months late)
Plus the insurance, as he`s passed last week. You were seeing really nice Tri`s on Vectis and ebay, and seeing £1400 + bids on them, and thinking, No !! , that`s a good chunk of his insurance there.

Yes, still looking and still collecting. Always trying to upgrade items for better condition ones or add items I'm currently missing.

I'm still collecting and still buying fairly regularly.
I've branched out in my collecting, focussing more on paperwork items and specific cardbacks as my vintage figure related toy collection only requires 2 items to "complete" - MOC Yak and MOC Imperial Sniper, both of which aren't easy to find and are currently out of my price range. Theres always something new out there to buy, and i'm still getting cool new items for my collection. Saying that, prices of everything are rising and sooner or later i can see myself refusing to pay the "going rate".

Whilst I am still buying vintage SW stuff, I've been getting back into gaming on the Amiga recently so not been as active within the vintage sw world

I recently sold my collection as needed the money. I hadn't actively collected for about 20years prior as I couldn't justify the expense. I still enjoy looking but can't say I'm likely to get back into it 🤷‍♂️

No longer collecting, received an email this morning which reminded me of this forum and that I need to pull my finger out and find a new home for my childhood collection.

You`re not interested in the £8,800 odd yak on ebay ?
I appreciate it`s got decent grades, and everyone wants their price when selling, but seeing prices like these or best offer isn`t helping the hobby.
There`s a lot of inflated prices atm.

I pick things up now and again, not collecting like I used to though. I've started collecting other things from my childhood, especially Panini Football stickers and TOMY wind up games.

I will always love Star Wars but to me the ST and the pathetic hype it had really irked me. It was too commercialised and even felt different to when the PT was released which I have fond memories of. We are now saturated with tons of Star Wars crap that nobody wanted.

I am still looking but more for childhood lots with weapons, cardbacks or boxes in them and then cardbacks or boxes with danish price stickers. I do not buy much because prices are crazy.

I stopped collecting vintage a few years ago and started chasing prop pieces instead. Funnily enough just this last month I've taken a look at my collection as I'm very happy with what I have and pretty much thought it was complete and only really wanted a few random pieces.

I've picked up a few bits that I never had as a kid and genuinely thought I wanted until I had them in my hands - with no childhood memories attached to them they just did absolutely nothing for me. It's that childhood magical memories that make SW vintage collecting special for me so I'm lucky that I won't be spending time and money looking for hard to find bits.

I will be spending the next two years tracking down a boxed B Wing before Christmas 2024 though :ROFLMAO:

While I was moving some bits around in my room I took a few loose figures that I had stored away and put them on a shelf, couldn't believe how much they made me smile - you honestly can't beat setting up a few figs with accessories.

So yeah, still collecting but in a very laid back enjoyable way, not going to spend money grabbing something over priced, just enjoy the hobby and the things I have.

I'm still very much collecting. I now have a display room, (Been 10+ years without one) so it's great to have at least some of my collection back on display. Always looking to add to it when I can

I do have around 10 mocs or so that I really want to add to my collection and basically that's my checklist done. but as I have learnt in the past. Once you get everything you want. You discover that you like to add something else and it just keeps going and going so my answer is that I will keep on adding and adding to the collection 😂

Not really collecting SW, or anything else at the mo. Have lost the bug and also run out of space in my small room. Would like to complete my Action Force Series 1 run at some stage and get hold of the ESB Atari game. Maybe some boxed Palitoy ships and playsets, such as Cloud Car and Dagobah.
