Wanted to wait to get this into a GW case before posting it here. Been after an Ackbar miscard for a long time, so I'm really please with this. Hope you like it too.

Lol, that's a great miscard my friend. Disco Ackbar! And just noticed the 'UFO' hole punch. Nice touch. :)

I think the 'UFO' hole punch is unique to the French Meccano so guessing your's is one.

You may also find this read interesting...

Cheers..! Thanks for the link also, very interesting.

Great misscard, got to love the "Disco Ackbar"!

I don't know if this is true but I was told, having his arm up was the only way to get him in the bubble. It does make it cool though.!

It looks as though that's true as you can see he is at a slight angle and if his right arm was to be down level with his left it would have pushed the side of the bubble out further. Makes sense.

He's still a Disco Ackbar though, lol.

I believe that you are correct about his stance.
Nice pick up though, I never see miss cards for sale anymore, am I looking in the wrong places?

Nice pick up and great conditon all round. I like that bubble and it's colouring too. It's more of a tint than yellowing. Kind of suits the cardback. :)

Being new here, I thought I'd play as well.

It's been a great week for my PBP variants collection :

First I got these two Lobots, One needs a good cleaning but came with the original weapon. I have a 3rd one on the way .

I love it when a run comes together! I've received this sealed set of 6 Deeko plates today, to compete my set of unused British Deeko party ware from 1978, including an uncut roll of plates. Really pleased to finish this set at last.

Next and still from my PBP run came this nice Greedo, missing the gun but I have spares from my 'beater' childhood figures.

Another PBP, (all these came in the same week), this time a Hoth Leia. Needs a good cleaning and she's also missing the gun but this time I have no spares and they are way overpriced

Brilliant run. I remember having these plates for a birthday party many, many moons ago. Managed to rescue one that I still have.

For the price of £40 you can't really go wrong with this 'shy' Hoth trooper/At-St miscard

Bloody brilliant score! And looks like a French Meccano card too, I believe.

Wow French trilogo miscard : WANT.

Last but not least from my" last week "PBP run, is a MIB bi logo Speederbike. Complete with instructions.

The last time I held one of these I was 10 years old with my brother on a plane to visit my grandparents and my mom had bought me this so I wouldn't be sad to leave them (my parents) behind. I think my little brother got a Transformer and our instructions were to only open the gifts after take off.

The box isn't the best I've seen , but the speeder is like new.
