The bubble is still firmly attached all the way round, the way prices are these days I'm keeping it! Its a thing of beauty and I love it!😃

My AT-AT Commander Palitoy 45 back - opinions on the seal?

Thank you both. Yeah the bubble is firmly fixed all the way round including at the top where that little bit of adhesive is starting to come away underneath. Before I saw it in person I was sure I'd be able to say straight off whether it was a reseal. Everything lines up really nice though...

My AT-AT Commander Palitoy 45 back - opinions on the seal?

Hi folks, its been a while since I last posted, thought I'd rectify that and see what everyones opinions are on this.(y) I picked up this AT-AT Commander on the bay a few years back. The description said it had never been opened but that the bubble looked like it had been damaged in the factory...

    Amazing vintage find!

I just wanted to share with you folks something amazing that happened last week to me. :D Last Thursday I got a text from my mate Andy at work:- "My brother is renovating a flat and has found star wars figures in original packaging, photos to follow" Obviously the kind of message we all want...

Buying in the 80's how we used to buy figures

My first figure was bought while on holiday in St Ives Cornwall,1983. In one of those little seaside toy shops. The carded figs were on a rotating stand and staring at me was Luke Jedi from the soon to be released Jedi film. I don't think I've ever been so excited! It was the early version with...

    Darth Vader tour photos wanted

Great photo! :o Scotch Corner in Killie and Ayr were two places I remember having SW toys from my childhood. I remember being in the Ayr branch about '86 and they had a wall full of heavily reduced vehicles and figs - and my parents refused to buy me anything  I got the 'you're too old...

    New retroline.......

They look cool, but so do many repro carded figures on ebay. If you decided to display them and a fellow SW fan asks a question about them what are you going to do, pretend they're 12 backs because Disney Hasbro holds the licence currently? No, you're going to say 'they're not originals but...

Guidance Advised: 2,387 Vintage Figures Melted

What a dickhead. Costs a small fortune to pick up used figures these days as it is. There might still be tens of thousands out there but they're finite and now the pool of figs has shrunk a little more. Dragged out into the street and flogged with Chewbacca Bandoliers i'd say.

    US to UK post.

Looks ok to me. All I think its saying is that its left Heathrow Airport but probably the next destination will be Customs or the Parcelforce depot which will still be around Heathrow just a different area.

FORUM FIGURE 2018 - THE GRAND FINAL

Both were childhood favourites for me so its a tough call, but I agree with Savory about weapon detail - Biker Scout's looks great and suits the figure as a lightly armoured trooper. The Snowie's rifle has always been a bit awkward and probably showed have been a standard Stormie blaster. So on...

When did collecting become so aggressive?

I agree, its harder and harder to find good ebay users these days and the lack of manners is getting worse. One thing I will say as a casual seller of non-SW stuff, when creating a new listing to sell on Ebay the option to remove the 'best offer' option is tucked away and sometimes can...

    FORUM FIGURE 2018 - ROUND 3 - MATCH 8

ERG as R5 is basically an R2 body with a new head. ERG was a whole new mould and was an iconic (if boring) visual character of Jedi.

Very tough! Had both as a kid, went for the Biker Scout but on another day it would have been The Driver.
