Woolworths in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire was were my Mama took us for our figures on a Saturday for a treat. We started off at Wimpey for a burger and chips and a knickerbocker glory, then off to Woolworths to pick a figure. Good times :D

Here is a picture of the store, it was friggin huge and had the biggest toy section you have ever seen.

Miss Woolworths

It was the type of store that you could get everything from. The vinyl records were great, not forgetting the pick and mix as well

Oh man that's a bummer

Sorry, not SW, but this is a GW Hurley price sticker on one of my old Scalextric boxes. My fav shop in Burnham-on-Sea, which is still there. Toys were upstairs and there was a life-size cuddly lion on the stairs on the way up. Star Wars, Action Man, Scalextric were in the front right hand corner of the shop, as you got to the top of the stairs. They had loads! Still open today. Went back a few years ago, and they still had a big silver backgrounded ESB sticker on top of one of the shelving units. It was like the shiny club stickers from the 85-86 Panini football sticker album, for those that remember! Wish I had asked about it. Had gone last time I went.

I've got a Humpty Dumpty one, from Hayes High Street. A Google search led to a Facebook post about the old shop that closed in 04.

Only just found this thread. I've got two MOC's with stickers from the same shop - Sokells of Driffield, East Yorkshire - apparently still alive and kicking today :)

I am hoping to put these on the For Sale Board soon if anyone is interested

That's a great Tri Logo Prune Face.

Do you have any other Tri Logos you're thinking of moving on?
