Christmas 1984/2024

Sitting playing with presents under the tree.

This is a carded B Wing Pilot, bought from the vintage sales section many many years ago for £20 and put away by my wife ready for Christmas 2024 - exactly 40 years since I opened my original on Christmas morning. 1984 was my last SW year before I "grew up"

I can't believe how Magical feels, it's not a MOC, it's not a carded figure or a Tri Logo. It's not a collectible or display piece, not in an acrylic case - it's a Star Wars figure wrapped in Christmas paper, and thinking about it is 100% bringing back the childhood excitement of Christmas and SW toys.

Definitely time to get back into vintage Star Wars collecting for all the right reasons

Ha brilliant! Just looking at the shape of that present brings back memories! I remember my sister got me a Trilogo AT-AT commander, this reminds me of it.

That's well cool! You always knew when you got a figure, the unmistakable size and shape. That buzz of not knowing which one. 1984 would have been my last Star Wars Christmas too. Don't really remember Trilogos or Power of the Force and too young for 12 backs. Was all about ESB and ROTJ stuff for me. Star Wars was magical at Christmas in those days. The year I got the Falcon was the best

1984 would have been my last star wars Xmas as well.
Always remember the one where I got the falcon and my brother the AT AT.
