I thought it was time I showcased my Falcon model which is an exact replica of the ESB filming miniature, it's a beast. I finally got around to taking some decent pictures today since the weather has been nice, so got it out in the garden for the best lighting. This is the result of 2 solid years of hard work and my first attempt at modelling, it was practically a 2nd full time job, iv'e put everything into this, what you're seeing is the basic kit but with all custom paintwork and battle damage, added custom 3D printed parts to scale, custom fibre optics and custom engine light.
Some technical specs -
32 inch length,
10.5kg weight,
Full steel framed internal chassis,
Cast steel quad cannons ( movable ),
Fully movable radar dish,
34x fiber optic lights ( powered by 6 LED's ),
3x internal added custom LED's,
2x internal 9v battery packs ( for powering the LED's and fiber optics )
Custom 64x LED engine light array strip ( with separate power pack source ),
23x custom 3D printed parts,
IR remote control boarding ramp.
Enjoy!
All 6 engine vents are custom 3D printed parts, the basic kit came with vents that were solid plastic and not see through, so I added these much higher quality parts where the grills are actually see through and have separate fans inside them.
