Corroded Battery Terminal

I have a battery terminal rotted away on my Troop Transport and I'm wondering if there's anyway to replace it, weld a new bit on, or forget it.

I have not tried to replace it but I use I file to make it clean again. I takes a lot of work

Soak it in Coke or vinegar, for a few days.

I tried vinegar on some of my vintage star wars pieces in the past and that worked. I always had problems with leaking batteries!

You can also wrap it in foil, or try fabricating a new one out of tin with some tin snips. Use the old one as a template.

It looks easy to make a new one, that's what I would do.
