I loved my cereal toys as a kid, my absolute favourite of all time was the Kellogg's bike reflectors in the late 80's, we ended up with tons of these things and they could be found all around the house, in the garden, and me and my bro's bike wheels were bloody covered in them lol.

What's your no.1 favourite childhood cereal toy/freebie?

The curiously names Weetabix Shrinky Dinks were my favourite.

coloured them in and them put them in the oven

remember sending off for a Bangles poster from Start cerial too

Yes! Forgot about those Cornflake reflectors, brilliant.

My favourite were Monsters in my pocket, think they came with shreddies? I remember eating so many shreddies before school one morning I **** myself!

Ah yeah there was a cereal promotion with MIMP figures, can't remember if it was Shreddies or not though.

I weirdly don't remember any of the other freebies mentioned so far though, :?

you can shove your touch screen technology there was nothing like doing the puzzle on the cereal box and shaking the cereal to find the freebie while going live was on tv in the background on a saturday morning happy times

I doubt anyone else will remember these:

I still have the Thunderbird 4 somewhere, must find it again.
Don't remember any others as my mother refused to buy cereal that I wanted just because of the free item and then find that I did not like the cereal!
As they say, different times...

no, but that reminds me I did send off for a promotional early 90s set of these. Was that Kelloggs? I regret selling them off now as I had all the mailers with my student address

I think it just about qualifies as a toy, but it was certainly a freebie. I always liked the cut out, fold and glue animal heads Kellogg's added to the backs of their packets several times over the years throughout my childhood. Sadly I didn't keep any, but as a kid they were great fun! Here's an image I've just culled from the internet in case anyone doesn't know what I am talking about:

Loved the Jurassic Park Stickers with weetabixs, also the Sonic Yoyo's with Frosties and the Mask pencil tops still have them.

Sorry, can't help you with the 90s cereal toys, was married by then and ate "grown up" cereal!
Thunderbirds did go through a massive revival then, Matchbox had the toy franchise as I remember, Ibought all of the Thundebirds, Captain Scarlet and Stingray toys in gift sets ot blister cards, unfortunately now all sold on.
Weren't as good as the Dinky toys, but not bad for the price.

Still got my Captian Scarlet from the 90s, but the stingray and TBs were sold off.

Sure it was an offer with Kellogg's or weetabix

I have had a look around on the internet and have not found anything that late.
Would like to see some pictures if you find any.
Still have a soft spot for anything by Gerry Anderson.

Had all of these- they were great! Also liked the Black Cauldron Kellogs figures, Superman and Batman Weetabix cards and scenes, and of course Star Wars/Battlestar Galactica Shreddies transfers and scenes.

Well done in finding those links.
I don't remember either of those.
Really like those Stingray toys.

E.T. Glow in the dark transfers that came with shreddies. I was eating those things for months
