In the same vein as the film thread. I just wanted to say that i've always been more of a fan of retro gaming.
However, I have recently picked up an xbox 360 and a PS3. They are both great and am going to start the thread with Batman - Arkham Asylem. Bloody brilliant!! (still, not sonic is it?)

I'm currently playing F1 2012 on the PC,I love driving games and F1 and i'm certainly getting my moneys worth.I especially enjoy the co-op championship.

I'm also playing Guild Wars 2 for the PC.After giving way way too much time to World of Warcraft and the failure of The Old Republic I vowed never to play a MMORPG again but I have to say i'm enjoying GW2.
I feel it has freshened up the genre with some great ideas though I think the lack of endgame isn't for everyone especially hard core raiders.I used to fall into that category but I enjoy paying more casual now and GW2 suits for that and its free to play.
The World Versus World(WvW) is great fun too and has a real epic feel about it.

Does 'British Bulldog' count - used to love that game at school

:) That brings back memories(broken an arm playing bulldogs) from a long time ago, used to play 'British Bulldogs' and 'Colours' in the playground.

Speaking of memories and retro gaming I used to have 'The Empire Strikes Back' for the 'Atari 2600',thats a long time ago now!
I still remember how excited I was getting that from 'Leisureworld' in Belfast. :D

How does Ipswich monopoly work then? Grandma's street. Grandpa's street. Sister's street. Second sister's street.... Third cousin on my sister's, mother's, father's side street

I can highly recommend UNO Its one bloody addictive game 8)

Dont know if any of you guys have played it?

Here is a wiki article if you havent a clue what the **** I am on about :p

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uno_(card_game)

An old favorite 'non computer' game was good old 'soccer dice'. Still have it somewhere.............GOAL!!

Just finished Boarderlands. Really surprised how good it was. One of the best first person shooters i've played.

Just started Arkham City. Not impressed with how it's started to be honest. Bit bored but then it often takes me a little while to get into games.

I'm hooked on Black ops 2 at the moment, also playing Farcry 3 and the latest Hitman all great games, looking forward mostly too the new Gears of War and Aliens colonial Marines :D

As a kid I loved playing Risk, And Iain at school I was a real skinny kid and I used too get bullied quite a lot if I'm being honest :)

At the moment I'm working through the lego games, doing Lego Batman 2 at the moment. Wouldn't say they are great, very repetitive, smash stuff, collect studs, find gold bricks. But they are easy to platinum\ and I do like seeing how they adapt the different films into lego scenes. Got a whole stack of games once I finish these. What to play next?!
