Hi guys,

I'm interested in finding out how many different versions of this there are. Not fussed about COO or light or dark colour pants.

I will start the list off and if you can add versions that are known to exist that would be great!

First Shot
Engineering Pilot
Early Bird - Non Double Telescoping
Early Bird - Double Telescoping
Blonde Hair
Light Brown Hair
Dark Brown Hair
Orange Hair
PBP
Glasslite
Meccano
Takara

I'm probably missing loads so please take the time to add or if there is a very comprehensive guide or website, please point me in the right direction.

Cheers guys,

Bram

:)

If you want to include bootlegs Bram then you also have:

-Hungarian
-Model Trem

I think you have the majority of the variations listed though.

Then I think you nailed it (although those bootlegs are pretty cool if you change your mind - and I really am not a bootleg fan!)

Do you have any pics, might be interested?!

I think you can cross the Takara Luke off the list, as a loose figure it's nothing special. I know you said no COO versions or pants colour but the Taiwan Luke has a different saber.

Are you talking about loose figures? I wouldn't be including engineering pilots and first shots in that list as they are pre production. The engineering pilot is pretty much the same as the standard figure and has dates and COO. The only difference is numbers made in black marker on the bottom of the feet. Similarly the first shot is pretty much identical apart from no dates or COO and some barely visible brush strokes from being hand painted. The translucent yellow DT saber has been paired up with the Luke Farmboy engineering pilot although I'm not sure if they originate together or were just paired up later.

In terms of production there are quite a few.

Hair:
Blonde hair (Hong Kong)
Blonde/lemon hair (China)
Light brown hair (green/brown)
Light brown hair (red/brown)
Medium brown (red/brown)
Dark brown
Orange hair
Dark orange hair (thought to originate in Australia)

Legs:
Tan legs
Light legs
Dark legs

Eyes:
Brown eyes
Black eyes
Red eyes

Sabers:
DT Saber - not exlusive to earlybird as found on 12-backs
Normal saber - can also be found in earlybird
Translucent DT Saber - pre production
Lettered sabers
Thin tip, thick tip etc

COO:
Hong Kong - 2 line, 3 line etc if thats your bag :)
Taiwan
China
No COO - melted, raised bar

In terms of foreign there are the following although most of the differences are mainly in the date and COO markings.

PBP
POCH
Meccano (same as PBP???)
Glasslite

No Luke Farmboy variant known exclusive to Takara

No way...... :D :D...Oli...the PBP has scarred out coo and hardtorso. Its THE rarest variant of all time! There is only 2 examples known. A third one is already broken in his blister! The PBP Luke is not compareable to any other Farmboy variant! Paint, material and coo are unique!
