MY TOP 10 STAR WARS ITEMS / FLAVOUR OF THE MONTH (NOV)

As I am one of the worst collectors in the world when it comes to sticking to one focus and my collection lives in a lock up, I've decided to use a slightly different theme for my limelight. I'm going to pick my favourite Star Wars items from my collection in a "High Fidelity" style chart.

I hope to update the top 10 regularly when I purchase something new or fancy digging something different out of my collection.

I am also adding a flavour of the month section. As my top 10 may not change that often I thought it would be nice to add this section to showcase other items I have from my collection. I intend to update this monthly.

Darth Vader 12 BK-A (Sku on figure stand)

This is one of my favourite figures. Love the fact that this is one of his earliest releases. This guy would be in my Top 5 Star Wars Action Figures.

Part of my Early Bird Focus. I like the non-DT version and Transition set just as much as this set.

Not the hardest to find but I love the figures in this set. I can feel a Stormtrooper focus coming on!

I love these Canadian 3-Packs. I'm on the hunt for a Simpsons 3-Pack and a Sears Canada 7-Pack. It's going to take some item to knock this off the Number 1 spot!

Thanks guys for all your kind comments. It's nice to share my collection with you. None of my mates are into collecting and they're only so many sealed toys my wife and kids want to see!

I'm looking forward to updating the top 10 in the future and seeing if the Top 5 changes in the next year. I do have a contender turning up in a few months but you can never tell until it's in your hands. :wink:

Yep have to agree with the others that would be a top 10 that any collector would be proud of. I would have any one of those as a grail item let alone all ten of them.

Great stuff and I know what you mean about my mates not sharing the interest. I catch my wife rolling her eyes sometimes at my excitement over a new purchase but I can't complain because she supports my collecting none the less.

We used to have a thread here a few years back but Im sure it was based on our favourite top 5 SW items. It would be interesting to see just how many guys/girls have the same top 5 etc. I know my top 5 has probably changed about 5 times since then. Nice collection again there mate.

I totally agree. I gave my Holy Grail away when I was a teenager. My original collection that I no longer needed as I wanted to play sport and meet girls. It wasn't worth much but it was priceless to me. The stupid things we do in are teens...
