Now this will blow Palitoy auctions sky high-rare poster

come to think of it, I did find a (cough... ) modern sw figure I wanted for my collection, it was spelt incorrectly.. watched it, waited, got to the last minute where I was going to win it for 99p on my bid.. and my ****ing connection stalled on the tablet. I contacted the seller to see if he'd do a deal and he said he'd listed it incorrectly and would relist.. sodding thing went for £10+ .... aargh

Didnt mean to rock any boats here.Just thought that such a piece could be discussed,as it is so rare.Palitoy is a worldwide thing, and ive loved that poster or ages. Many, many collectors will want this.I actually messaged the buyer about this, and he said he has rejected big offers already. If i were to end up with this,i would do a limited reprint run just so fellow collectors could enjoy such a piece. This poster is the centerpiece of any Palotoy collection IMO.

Would a reprint run be a good option?

Not sure. To me, to be honest, that sounds a bit repro'ish. I really have no idea what people think about this sort of thing where posters are concerned. It sounds less offensive than reproducing cardbacks

Hell yes! :D

It would also help to share some of the cost of buying it I'm sure and even though I knew I'd be priced out as soon as I noticed it it's the one poster I'd love to have.

id be keen on a reprint of a poster like that. will offer my services to photoshop out any creases, (still going to do my own modern take..)

Sold for £517 - I thought it might go a bit higher but still a very good price, too rich for me though. Bet the seller can't believe it!

I thought this might have done a touch better, I already have one in slightly lesser condition and paid around £400 15 years ago so thought this may touch £750....It's a beautiful poster and looks great framed up.

Well as an investment and something else to disappear in your warehouse then no you couldn't go wrong! :)
