Hi. Does anyone know how to safely remove ink from the bottom of the feet ( a great way for younglings to I.d their valued figures).
I've been experimenting on some beaters with standard cellulose thinners ( defo removes ink but melts the plastic too šŸ˜³), rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and nail varnish remover doesn't seem to affect the ink.
I tried a soft wet and dry paper ( 600 grit) wetted which works but I'm not keen on this as it obviously scratches the plastic.
If anyone has any advice I'd greatly appreciate it.
May the force be with you all .

Sounds like the ink has leached into the plastic.

You could bleach it out with benzoyl peroxide along with warm heated light.

I've done this on an a beater biker scout that had green nail polish that leached into the plastic. It took 3 attemptd then It disappeared.

I quite like kids initials on figures feet adds charm besides you cant see them when on display
