Thanks for all the positive feedback guys.

I am not sure what was released first I presume the Vinyl Cape as I always believed the Vinyl Cape was a design mistake that was quickly rectified with the introduction of the Cloth Cape.

This is correct and I had one growing up although the story goes that they wanted to add more value to the Jawa and that's why they released the cloth caped version. The thing I've always wondered is how much the cloth caped version would be worth now if that was the one that was released fist for only six months, would that one be even more desirable?

For me the VCJ has always looked liked the right cape for this figure due to having it growing up with it's first release. Hard to know if I'd feel differently if I'd grown up with the cloth one.

I guess the rarity and value is what dictates the desirability whether rightly or wrongly as people are often attracted to the unattainable. If a 100 VCJ'S were to come on to the market tomorrow I suspect their desirability and price would sharply drop so I think the Cloth Cape would be just as desirable if it had been the first release.

I think the Palitoy VCJ is more interesting than the Kenner as it took so much longer to discover which only adds to the mystery of what remains undiscovered In Palitoy!

Looking forward to seeing those mate.
I miss some of them but glad they're all together in a great set up.

Very envious. Some of those you never see come up.

I have been quite lucky as I have had the opportunity to buy a couple of substantial collections which contained lots of rare items that would have been extremely difficult to acquire individually.
