Hi, please could you have a look at these and let me have your thoughts? I want to send them to be graded, but there is apparently, a current 26 week wait! So I'm not sure what to do. Thanks

Yeah I am. It actually says wait times for orders of 1 or 2 items may be less, but it doesn't say how long, I'll try and contact them.

Any idea on valuation?

Going rate for the R2 is around £250-£350 depending on condition. For the Jawa around £800-£1200. They're very nice, you should do well 👍 I need the green lightsaber. I'll keep an eye out if you sell him, might be interested!

Looking closer I can see the Jawa's not in great condition. It has wear and damage on the cape, that will lower the value. Are these your childhood toys? Looks like it's been played with.

I would expect the R2 to get a 75-80 and the Jawa a 70-75.

Does the Jawa not have a blaster, he will need it to be graded.

I would search FB and eBay SOLD prices to get an idea on valuation with the above grades and then if selling here or FB take off the fees to get a rough price.

Personally I would grade the Jawa (and pay the extra to turn him around quickly if that is important to you) but probably wouldn't bother with the R2

PS: The R2 is also of interest to me depending upon price.😏

Can you take a photo of the cape under the armpit? It's common for childhood ones to tear here but be careful and don't try to remove it.
The R2 is in good shape and would probably grade ok but the jawa probably not as highly, if the cape is split then it's not worth sending it off at all. You'll also need the blaster to get it graded.

Thanks everyone, there are no tears under the arm pits, unfortunately there are just a few indents on the right side. Do I need the original weapon to grade it then? Presume i can't use a repro?

Good find with the Jawa although with the paintwork to the hands and the dents to the cape I'm thinking it would probably be a 70-75 grading. Still going to worth a fair amount though but you will need to add a blaster to get it graded as mentioned earlier.

Best of luck with it,

I believe that the blaster are different, and no whatever you do don't send it with a repro.

There are two different vintage jawa blasters, one with a bump on the side and one without. Both versions though have been found with the vinyl caped version so you can send in either as long as they're vintage ones.
