Dear Cazza,

Effective Immediately, all new accounts must use a Star Wars related username. If your account was deleted, please reregister with a Star Wars name and your account will be approved.

Unfortunately your registration at Rebelscum.com Forums did not meet our membership requirements. Therefore your registration was deleted.

So just for people registering now?

Mine's just my name and have not received any email from them and was just able to log on and post no problem.
 
I thought this was a rule they made for when creating a new account... I don't have this problem either. How long wher eyou registered with RS?
 
That really is daft.

I've just logged in, for the first time in months, without any problems.

Why should new members be forced to sign up with SW related names? Where's the logic in that? Given the size of RS how long before we get a dozen members all with different variations of the same name?

Actually, just thinking about that, we have what seems like every "Lee" in the world on here so maybe it's not a bad idea! :lol: Edd can we make all Lee's chose a SW related name!? :wink:
 
I tried joining and got rejected on the name I use here, didn't even get passed the first step and then tried using Cradossk(Bossk Snr) that was rejected as well. I haven't bothered finding a third!...
 
Am i the only Star Wars mad fella that's never even been on Rebelscum let alone tried to register? Sounds like i made the correct decision.

There are plenty who are registered who don't go on. I believe it's a good market place but they don't do banter like us Brits. I like the community thing we have on SWFUK and as i'm not a massive buyer there's very little reason to go over there.

I just got banned for a thread I started about Official Pix putting the C.Lee prices up straight after his passing. I said what many were thinking.

been there 13 years, and it stings. Have friends over there, and gutted because of that.

That really is quite poor form. It's a legitimate question and I can only guess it's because someone at OP complained to withdraw any advertising if the thread was not removed and the poster punished.

Philip Wise has interests with IP (I believe he is a part owner) and the mod who banned me works for them.
