Hi guys,

Not sure if I should be posting in the reference section but I was just wondering what items are available for VINTAGE Revenge of the Jedi?!

I know of the following:

Proofs
Badges
T-shirts
Leaflets/Promo Sheet/Flyer
Posters
Promotional Announcement
Cast and Crew Sticker

Any other help with this would be great, especially links/leads to rare items.

There are also some ship and mini rig proofs .

And even some box flats that are very cool .

There are also some ROTJ proofs with Revenge text on the back. ERG is one i know off .

Also there are a frew muck up figures on Revenge proof cards . They are salesman / toy show samples. And they are one of a kind.

There are also a trailer for the movie with the Revenge name in it . And Luke has the blue saber in it. It's on youtube i think .

As far as I am aware mate No... Only ESB characters as they were made in preperation of Revenge/Return of the Jedi... Kind of like a transition card. :wink: Although if you look at the bottom link it suggests that some moc ups may have been made?!

Yes, those mockups were created for early Jedi characters using existing Revenge proof cards. Here's a link to a better photo of the Luke Jedi one.

There's quite a bit of Revenge preproduction material out there that survived. I think with the fact of the name change, Kenner employees knew they'd become collectible right away.

Here's my proof sheet for The Force Lightsaber that you can add to your list. There's a few of these floating around.

The B wing pilot was debut on 77 back cards , long after the first 48/65
Back cards . I think that the ship had its debut at the same time .

But there is the desert sail ship . It was a jedi thing that are made as a Revenge proof I think .

Also I have to ad all the kenner mocs with the Revenge Akbar offer on front and back . There are a printed version and a sticker version .

They can also be found with palitoy sticker in the back . As they where sold in the UK .

I have just sold some of theses cardbacks .

I would love to own them, but they're at least in the hands of a good LJ collector who started long before me.

I just remembered a production item as well for you. The Canadian BD Tie Fighter had the Revenge text on the French side.

Well the 2nd one that I linked too does cover it a bit, but I was thinking a more informativeone bringing all aspects of Revenge of the Jedi to the fore.

I think its a massively overlooked part of collecting, I realsie why, but I think the whole thesis behind the fact that Revenge is not an emotion that a Jedi would have (and so they changed the name) is wicked!

I just hope my money can last long enough to get there!

I have noticed a big interest in this section since I posted in La and in the Collecting Chat section.

I am sure there's enough info out there, but to have it all in one place would be pretty cool. As I am going to be researching this area in depth, maybe the gauntlet falls to me?!

Anyone out there do websites?!

I will be doing some research and getting some background on this

As mentioned before some Moc ups made as samples for toy salesmans/ toy show samples.

There was never and actually produced due to the film name change.

This was my understanding?!

That TIE is great

Skye over on RS has a boxed revenge vehicle maintenance mini rig. If I recall he said it was sold that way and not for a premium, but as it seems a one off it could be a made up sample from a box flat

There are loads of mini rig revenge proofs, all sold by that ex-Kenner guy

Skye does have the mini rig - a major part of his chewy focus.

I've only seen the revenge leaflets in micro collection boxes but assume they would have been ditched before going into the TIE Revenge box - a lot cheaper to bin a few leaflets than a load of cardboard boxes
