RIP Cliff Simon (Ba'al in Stargate SG-1)

As per the news story above, tragically Cliff Simon, the actor who brilliantly brought the villainous Ba'al to life in Stargate SG-1, has been killed in a kite-boarding accident. He was 58.

Ba'al was always a favourite villain of mine in Stargate, and Cliff Simon was perfectly cast in the role, bringing menace and threat to a part that could easily have been just another bad guy, and always playing him with a twinkle in his eye.

He will be missed by all his fans, and my thoughts are with his friends and family.

so sad, RIP, I first started to watch stargate sg1 last year when I found season 1 on dvd, since then have been looking for season 2 with danish sub. on dvd but so far no luck but I have found most of the other season on dvd so when I find this season then I am ready to see the most of stargate sg1.
