I had a dream a few months or so ago that someone nicked my entire 70s/80s MOC and MIB collection and replaced it with new SW stuff :!: I actually woke up in a sweat

It is bloody scary what could happen :!: :!:

I am just thankful I don't live in Japan otherwise I would be worrying about Ninja's stealing my stuff, I am definitely not going to start collecting Takara

We all love to gawp at each others collections, but please be careful when posting limelights. There are some shady people in this hobby who would love to get their hands on your collection, so please avoid or at least use caution when posting:

1) Very high value items
2) Photos that show your house in any detail
3) Any personal information that could help trace you such as phone number, address, real name, even location
4) Also remember that anybody you buy or sell with will likely have your name and address, so again be careful who you deal with.

I was thinking about Showcasing my collection soon, although it is still in its infancy. Do you think showcasing will substantially increase the probability of theft?
