I'm amazed that mark poon is still allowed to be a member on other star wars forums after pulling a stunt like this?

Why not delete the coo or replace it with "made in china 2012" or "repro"!!!

Maybe for same reason they make repro weapons that sometimes are hard to spot

I do not hope he is on this forum :?

He is part of the "In-crowd" on RS and is bullet-proof.

I do not like forums that protect people when they do something like that

Great info on this thread, thanks to all for efforts to avoid getting landed with shite poontroopers. I just can't compute how anyone who cares for the hobby can sleep at night having produced these things, seemingly without conscience enough to even brand them as fake.

Urgh, defending this ringpiece and therefore condoning his actions maybe even worse. Grrr. As an honest loose collector on a modest budget, it's the lowly likes of me that this is attempting to rip-off. Thank the maker that SWFUK has zero tolerance for such ****ery.

He is a "Respected" collector. On the other hand a novice guy who may list a horrible looking repro cardback....and they are all over it. It's not what you do...as much as ...who you are.

I would think it is, I contacted Hasbro last year about it. But it looks like they have not done anything about it

It's a strange one Lars - Something should be done about it - This sort of thing could ruin the hobby - Repro weapons are bad enough without repro figures

Yes you are right about that. Hasbro told me they would look into it. But that was last year. Maybe we all should complain about it to hasbro, if they get many mails about those fake stormtroopers then they will maybe do something about it :? or if we make a petition and mail it to Hasbro.
