The Dark Crystal - Age of Resistance ?

Last week I learned about this tv series called The Dark Crystal - Age of Resistance. I remember the movie that I have seen many times since the 80s when I was kid and I have always thought why was there only one movie, I want more :lol: So last week I learned that there was also a tv series and I have now seen the first 9 episodes and tonight I will watch the last episode. I have read the tv series is cancelled so there will not be a season 2.

Do any of you know why it is cancelled ? and what do you think about season 1 ?

What an awesome series! Absolutely brilliant! Such a shame they've cancelled, but they are looking into alternatives for continuing the story. Don't know what they'll come up with.

Oh so they are looking for other companies like netflix to produce season 2 ? :?

Hopefully! Was surprised Netflix dropped it, but I guess it's VERY expensive to make and if it's not getting enough viewers, it's not economical. They could make another film...

ok, I guess you are correct about that maybe not enough viewers. Very sad that there is not enough viewers, we may force a few more to watch it :lol:

I was thinking maybe disney will do the job, they have done some muppet show movies if I remember correct :?

Its beauty and asthetics was it's down fall it cost too much to make basically and despite a cult following alot of people didnt get it or understand or even seen the film. It was a niche market to begin with and was brave move to begin with I'm glad it was amazing. Where as stranger things has wide audience AOR had only a small. Not financially viable moving forward unfortunately.
