The Force Awakens Trailer 2 - "Chewie....we're home"

I am still thinking about what the 3 new movies will be about.

The first 3 was about anakin and how he became vader. That was something we knew before they made the movies.

The last 3 was about luke and how he liberated anakin from being vader.

What will the next 3 movies be about ? :? do we know that ?

It's not Jar Jar even though seeing him disintegrated would be nice for most, I think it's a new species and said new species is said to be in the new trailer handing over a Lightsabre!..

Like many this trailer blew me away, my only concern is they setting the bar so high, can the film match expectations?
I personally think they'll knock it out the park. Super 8 captured the tone perfectly

I think the real danger is people expecting it simply to be another OT style film. For so many reasons, it never will be.

I look at as a new film, set in the universe I've loved since a child.

Hopefully it will be a good film in its own right. Good acting, characters, effects and storyline. Things which the prequels lacked to some degree. That way people who have no real affection for star wars may also enjoy it.

Ultimately I hope it's a good film set in a great universe

I saw it on a big screen in one of the simulcast rooms at Celebration Anaheim. Maybe it was the sleep deprivation from getting up for a very early flight Wednesday and then staying up too late Wednesday night...but seeing it Thursday morning with a huge crowd, oh my ****ing god.
Mark's voiceover made me feel 10 years old again.
When he said "I have it" and a hand touched Artoo's dome, I started to well up.
When he said "My sister has it", and a saber is handed to someone that's obviously Leia, I smiled, and began to cry. And then seeing Han and Chewie, that was it. It got me. I am not ashamed. I think I'm going to watch it again. Right now.

Too early to say but I think they'll have cameo roles in Episode 7, rather than being major characters. I mean it's great to see them all together again but they're getting old, unless we want to watch a retirement village film it needs some new blood :lol:

The trailer is absolutely superb, I thoroughly enjoy it. It got me all emotional and I can't wait. The look of the film is clearly going to be amazing, but lets not start sucking each others dicks just yet..! I hope and I'm sure it will be everything we want it to be but a great trailer doesn't guarantee a great film. I hope he's (JJ) got it right :wink:
