I've been wondering about these recently! I've had a few people gift me minifigs over the years in plastic bags with the arms disassembled. I thought it was odd but appreciated the gift, though someone gave me a 2017 Thrawn minifig disassembled like this and I'm certain its a fake (still kept it though because it was a very thoughtful gift). I havn't been able to find anything about it online. Are minifigs that are packaged like this aways reproductions or does lego put out stuff like this?

Thrawn was only with the 2017 Phantom to my knowledge (newer sets may have been released), but he was in one of the build baggies as normal, and his arms were in place

Thrawn has been released in 2 sets - the Phantom back in 2017 and a more recent version in an Ahoska set.

Anyway - I haven posted Lego shots in a long time - but this one is a beast. I queued up with a mate for the midnight release (so I have the signed box and various other bits) but she's sat in the box for 8 long years now.... But no more.... Being a total nerd I also bought a special set of laser printed parts (on genuine lego parts) so I didn't muck up the stickers and of course a light and sound pack - The final step tomorrow will be getting it all into a wicked bricks display case... god knows how it weighs a ton....
