Vintage 1970's Classic Inpro Dinosaurs

Wow these bring back some childhood memories! I'm sure i still have some of these at my folks, i'll have to dig them out someday👍

Hey @Cazza I found a handful of these 1970s inpro dinosaurs at the carboot at the weekend they were inside a teacup randomly. There kinda cool only ÂŁ2. I'm wondering how many are there? Is there a list.

I believe there 16 in total the majority have inpro 1972 the others just the name of the dino or no markings and released in 1977.

Is one of this 16 a lost mould?

Are they cheap to collect? I reckon it's very niche

Cheers cazza

@poncho sounds like a great find! Any pics?

Here's the list:

Brontosaurus
Plesiosaur: the rare 'lost' Inpro model
Saltoposuchus
Heterodontasaurus
Corythosaurus
Allosaurus
T-Rex
Pteranodon
Mammoth
Dimetrodon
Stegosaurus
Smilodon
Triceratops
Protoceratops
Trachodon
Ankylisaurus

+ Chivers Jelly mailaway- How The World Began
+ painting dioramas (MEGA rare!)

There are lots of knock-offs. The original line was harder plastic. My theory is the softer versions are a late 70'S re-run. Anything with more garish colours are knock-offs.

I still have quite a few, if you need them. They're fairly cheap, at least compared to vintage SW!

Heres the bundle I got ive got 6 inpro and the other 5 are generic similar era small dinos I think @Cazza

Brilliant- you got the Trachodon, which is definitely one of the hardest to find. Good work!

Cool I've no idea I may see I can find the other 10 now lol. Are bottom 5 of any note? Or just just the generic era dinos / chinasaurs. Cheers cazza
