Vintage Collection for sale

I've joined the forum today as I'm looking to sell a collection belonging to me and my brother.

We've avoided ebay so far as it's our preference to sell the complete collection to one person.

I've tried without success to upload the xls with the items listed. The items include 25 sealed figures (many unpunched), 50 loose figures and 13 larger items including the Millenium Falcon, x-wing, Wampa, Snowspeeder, Slave 1, Tauntaun (all boxed and many have instructions).

We're based in Reading/Basingstoke and can send the xls and photos to those with serious enquiries.

Yeah, you have to name a price when selling on this forum. You can't just invite enquiries, it doesn't work like that. Ideally photos would be good too.

Yeah would be great to see pictures and prices before anything is sold. Plenty on here can give you a valuation on them if your not sure.

I suppose if say Iain gets the lot it could be for the greater good despite my initial gripes at a lack of transparency and pricing rather than have it all go to a dolphin. That said the last active time shows as the time they posted this so I doubt they've even read the PMs, the OPW idea may be right.

I'm not a one post wonder - I'm just brand new to this forum and am trying to get to grips with how it all works so my apologies to all if this isn't coming across well.

I was expecting a prompt/nudge through email for any enquiries and I haven't had anything at all. I now see I have some personal messages so I'll take a look at these today.

The collection is completely genuine (they were our childhood toys) and I did try to upload a photo and spreadsheet with a full list without success.

It sounds like a huge lot so if it does go up for sale it's probably best if an interested party living near the guy selling buys it since postage and packing costs might be huge.

Many thanks for your input on this. I'll try to act compliantly from here on in..........

For clarity, the collection (details below) are toys owned by my brother and I that we bought/were bought for us when we were kids. As such most have been played with but our dad used to collect toys so he kept all the boxes for the bigger items and instructions etc. Also, he very sensibly bought up some additional figures when we out grew Star Wars that remain sealed and in many cases unpunched. There is some creasing to some of the cards, and some yellowing/cracking to some of the packaging but this is in keeping with their age.

As you'd expect, we've decided that now is a good time to sell them on and I'm keen to sell these to a collector who has a passion for them.

I have started with the person who appears to be closes to me geographically to keep costs down and I'll be in touch with others thereafter asap.
