Some super bargains for sure-esp compared to todays prices!
An outstanding bargain for me was NOT one I got back in the day typically but one I got in the summer of 2019 and from one of the worlds most established dealers "Brian's Toys" which made it quite unbelievable really!
So it's very early in the morn, like 4.30am and I'm up due to work etc. Anyway am laying in bed browsing Brian's catalogue due to an email and I lay eyes on what I first thought was a Palitoy 41 back Hoth Stormtrooper MOC for $399, no significant damage to the piece at all! So I thought well I'm taking that for that bargain price! So am looking and the eyes are now focusing correctly as I'm properly waking up
and I suddenly realise I'm not looking at a 41 back but a 30 back!!!
I'm now panicking frantically trying to BIN via PayPal and making a right hash of it due to my non calm state
Anyway I pull myself together and buy it
Piece arrives and it's great no real issues. However when I turned over the card(being in a v picky mood) I noticed small bit of light surface creasing near top left which had not been mentioned. So being on a roll, I cheekily contacted Brian about it who gave me a $60 partial refund!
The piece graded an 80 to give you an idea of how minor the damage was!!
An amazing modern day bargain!!
