Diamond in the rough Luke Farmboy

Post by olisuds » Sun Sep 08, 2019 4:59 pm

I picked up this a few months back. No mention of anything special in the title or description but noticed something in the picture from the rear!!!

Anyway, it turned up a few weeks later and it scrubbed up really nicely with the help of some soap and water.

I sent it in for grading and authentication and was pretty pleased with the way it turned out with the saber displayed fully extended. The saber really is beautifully straight and if it wasn't for the small rub on the left foot it would have got an 85.

Whilst I've been lucky to find some really nice rare items in the past that went unnoticed, the transformation of condition made this pretty special for me. This Luke was definitely a diamond in the rough! :D

That’s a fantastic find, congratulations! Rare to see an inner sabre as straight as that. Great spot!

Absolutely brilliant! That saber is in stunning condition, considering how mucky the figure was!
