A tiny angel perfect in every way,
To dote upon for ever and a day.
Tears and tantrums are sure to come,
But laughter and happiness and lots of fun.
There is no doubt Laura ,your life will fulfil,
Immediately Daddy will bend to her will.
Riches of diamonds, silver and gold,
Cannot compare to the bundle you hold.
Congratulations truly a ray of sunshine,
The feeling of Fatherhood....simply sublime

That's really nice idea, something for her to look back at her first year
I Love poetry, simply for what it is, and i attempt to write something like it.

I know how I felt to this day when my daughter was born, and that glow never leaves you, very special indeed.
It's the same but different with a son if that makes sense.

I excatly know what you mean now!! Thank you again!! My wife still cannot believe this....I think she cannot believe that "those guys" (the SW nerds I am hanging out each and every day on a lot of forums.."wasting my time") can be so nice....hahahaha...that' is really good!!
