I thought it might be good to have a model making thread. Not 1:1 props, small scale models. Either scratch built or kits, of anything, doesn’t have to be Star Wars. The subject was mentioned in another thread and I’ve been thinking about getting a little kit of tools and materials together and having a go at making something. We’ve obviously all seen Wolffs amazing sailbarge, something to aspire to! I’ve been doing some research and found a cool video where Adam Savage demonstrates a small styrene build:

Would be interested to see anyone’s work or builds and discuss tools, materials and build/paint methods. Apart from building airfix kits as a kid I am pretty much a novice so any info or advice very appreciated.
