Blueish/Green paint Klattu Skiff Guard

Post by StarWarsFan »

Hi guys,

Was having a look through my loose figures and found this Klattu, I didn't know I had the paint looks very bluish/green. A variant or sun fade? Cheers

Certainly different, @Snaketibe may have an idea.

I've never seen one that shade before, but then again given how discoloured the torso is, it's quite possible this figure has spent a lot of time in adverse conditions such as protracted sunlight or in contact with reactive chemical agents of some kind. This may have affected the green paint colour turning it blue. I think it's fairly safe to say the figure isn't a new colour variant, but it is interesting to see nonetheless.

Yeah I would agree, looks like it spent a few years outside so none of the colours are accurate any more
