Ok lads, I need some help and advice. I've just got me self something I never thought I would be able to own, well it's not exactly how I would have chose to have it but in the current palitoy moc market I think I'll settle for this! I got a very nice Luke x wing Palitoy 20 cardback with bubble partially attached( just one side ) for a very reasonable price over a meet up at the pub Friday . I'm now wanting advice as regards re sealing it. Two things I would like u vintage Star Wars lovers to answer .
1- what correct figure should go in hear as regards coo?
2- I've no footer but do have one in my damaged ESB moc which I could take and use hear ? Would that be ok ? Yeh it's vintage still but wasn't sure if the colour is exactly the same ?
Thanks in advance for ur help lads.
I'm very excited about seeing it come together !
Cheers ⚒

That's a nice Luke X-Wing card :)

Well, I can't help with the correct COO, but I hope you're not planning on opening your ESB damaged MOC to use the footer in this reseal? Or is your ESB one already open? If so, simply place the footer inside the SW card bubble and compare shades of blue.

Rather than opening a damaged ESB MOC (if that is what you're considering), since it's always going to be a reseal and not an unopened MOC (and btw, I have absolutely no problem with resealed vintage cards, providing of course no-one then tries to pass them off as original unopened MOCs... not that most reseals would fool anyone with eyes and a brain anyway), if you can't find a vintage footer on eBay (and they do come up for sale from time to time) why not find a piece of suitable blue card and make your own footer? That's got to be preferable to opening a MOC, even a damaged one, surely? Good luck!

Cheers for your advice there buddy, appreciated it. Firstly to clear one thing up my Esb moc I have has bad damaged bubble and figure can come out and footer ( would never destroy a moc to just a footer out) it's a mic that has sadly got worse over the time I've had it . I just thought if I going to re seal this moc I would rather use a footer I have . I guess I'm trying to reseal this the best way I can abd to get it correct. And if I can use a footer I have already ( if this Esb one is OK to use?) and the correct figure too then yeh it's always gonna be a re seal( and those who know me know I Would always state clearly if re sold its a re seal and yes u would be able to tell I'm sure ) . I would also re place or put a made up footer to put in the Esb I've I have

I don't know about COOs but I am doing a very similar project with a 20-back Palitoy LXW.

There's a guy selling ex-factory LXW's on eBay for 14 quid delivered anywhere. i bought one for my reseal and it's minty.

As for the footer, I find it's a perfect shade of Rice-Krispies-blue.

Hello mate how's it going? The Hammers were a bit lucky the other nite weren't they

Real nice card and bubble u picked up and cool u got a footer too 8)

I also picked up a mint LXW that was described as Palitoy over stock from a guy "down under" for something stupid like £10 :!: no gun but it was clean as :D Am guessing it's over stock from the Jedi era :?: Anyway it is stamped GMFGI Hong Kong. I am not too confident in this area so don't know if that's right/wrong etc :!:

Hi Shaky,

I've dug out both my childhood LXW which were def purchased on SW cards. I'm confident of them being Palitoy (as didn't pick upon Kenner until Luke Bespin appeared) and both are marked:

GMFGL
1978
HONG KONG

Hope that helps.
