Just found the comic that started it all, as previously mentioned, on e-bay

Marvel Special Edition Star Wars #2 Collectors edition (1977), soon as I saw the cover, looking at that comic brought back so many memories and that's what its all about

might have to try and search a cheap copy of this out, prices for anything sw now are mental

I was very young so I do not remember my first star wars item

But some of the first I got was R2-D2 sensorscope, Chewbacca, C-3PO with net, Darth Vader, Farmer Luke and Kenobi

The Falcon, Luke, Han (LH), Chewie, C3-PO (SL), Lobot, Vader and 2-1B.
My Mum had won the jackpot in the local bingo just coming up to Xmas. So you could imagine the surprise I had on Xmas morning. I can't remember having anything else before that unless possibly a magazine or stickes.
I still have everything except Luke and Han, I guess they wer my favourite so got took everywhere.

My first introduction to Star Wars was a Han Hoth figure and Speeder Bike vehicle. I don't think I had seen or even heard of the films before then.

My first was an AT-AT driver loose with no weapon that my brother bought me from a car boot sale for 30p. This was when the remastered editions were out in cinemas which is when I got into Star Wars. I will have been around 9 at the time I think.

Quite a coincidence that the first figure that got delivered as I've just started collecting again was an AT-AT driver this morning, with his rifle this time though

Brought back good memories.

March 84' I got MF, AT-ST, Snowspeeder, Han Hoth, Chewie, Luke Jedi, Stormtrooper and Darth Vader! Had no idea what Star Wars was until then.

Carboot for 30p wish you could find figures for that these days. I had always heard of SW but didn't know anyone apart from Darth Vader who I use to call Dark Vader.

Must have been 1980 or 1981 - after seeing other kids at school with Star Wars figures and asking my dad if he would get me one. He did - it was Han Hoth Outfit - and I still own the exact figure to this day:
