Hi all, I'm Paul, from Derbyshire and I've listed some pics of my collection, I started collecting back in 1996 after coming across a few loose vehicles at a local market. I also bought a fair amount from a local toy shop that had been shut for several years, by chance I found out that the owner of the shop lived 5 mins from me, so a phone call later I arranged to go and see what stock they had stashed away for all those years... I made an offer and the rest is history. ..... other things I've bought are from car boots and toy and collector fairs, shops, cinema stuff… anything Star Wars I saved soooooo some of it probably is'nt worth a deal in value but might but of interest to some.

I'm looking at selling the entire collection, either single items or as a complete job lot. I guess its hard to value stuff from a photos but any info appreciated. All boxed toys unless stated are still factory sealed, the boxes are wrapped in clear film only to protect and have been for years, in some pictures the protective film might look like creases, but its only reflecting the light:). I'll get these posted in the for sale forum asap, just interested to find out what things are fetching at present.

Cheers Paul (nicorsts1)

OK….I'll start with the Star Wars carded figures – these are re-sealed.

Oh my!!

Some amazing stuff there Paul. I can help you with prices for some of the non factory sealed boxed items. When I've picked up my jaw from the floor that is.

Oh and welcome to the forum. Sure we can't convince you to not stop collecting?

A start:

The factory sealed mini rigs:

ISP-6 £50-60
CAP-2 £25-35
MTV-7 £25-34
INT-4 £15-25
MLC-3 £35-45

Palitoy Wampa £100-120

Scout Walker £140-160 each, though a few case fresh examples have been sold on ebay lately so the market may be a bit saturated.

AT-AT: to infinity and beyond as they don't come up very often!
Millennium Falcon: £400-500, but again they don't come up very often.

More tomorrow as I'm off to bed.

I'm still speechless about some of the stuff you have. An old shop find is everyone's dream on here I'm sure. It sure is mine. 8)

Welcome Paul & what an outstanding first post! :D

You have some top notch stuff there, good luck with your sales & thanks for sharing! 8)

I would value the following items:

MISB Palitoy Taun Tauns-£120-£150!

MISB ROTJ Snowspeeders-£175-£250!

MISB ROTJ Slave 1-£250-£300!

MISB Jabba Playset-£150-£200!

MIB Landspeeder-£100-£150!

MIB ROTJ BD TIE Fighter-£150-£200!

MIB Rancor-£40-£60!

MIB ROTJ Rebel Transport-£35-£55!

ROTJ X Wing-£60-£80!

ROTJ Millenium Falcon-£40-£60!

I could be a bit off on the prices especially with the MISB Palitoy items as they command a better premium in mint condition! :D

Hopefully Emiel will correct me if i'm wrong, hope this helps & good luck! 8)

Those factory sealed boxes are amazing and worth the most in my opinion as they don't come up every often. The palitoy reseals are worth a fraction of the MOC price.

Great collection!

Thankyou to all of you for your responses to the collection and for offering me valuations..  glad you all like the post, plenty of pics is always good right :D .
Yeah the shop find was amazing, basically a 1 phone call and I was given a small but to the point list of some of the items they had left, sooo quick as you like I was off I went for a ganders - happy days... they had a son too who had loads of stuff... imagine that as kid, your own toy shop.
Has to my collection now I honestly have mulled over and over what to do with the collection, part of me said to keep, another split and finally to just cut loose with all. Its 15 years since I started the collection and this only stopped after taking a year out in OZ, and now I'm off again to New Zealand permanently. Even as I'm typing I'm continuously mulling it over but fact is, its hard to see them go but I need to look forward and so after some care full consideration I'll start to list them on the for sale post...

Great site by the way and thanks again for the warm welcome... think I need a little time just to work out the listings but please feel free to add any more advise as its all welcomed....

Cheeeeeeeers :D

I can only really echo what the oher guys have said. A lovely collection with some seriously fresh items. So fresh in fact that it is probably a good idea they are kept covered in cling film!

Good luck with the sales and the move to New Zealand. Thanks for the share!

Chris. :)

Thanks for all the comments guys... :D :D

Righty then, because of the amount of stuff I've got its going to be best if I place them individually for sale alternately. I'm thinking that I should get one or two up for sale, see what happens, sort the sale out on them and then start over... that way I can just concentrate on the one/two items without having to get all the stuff out, I don't want to damage any of them and you can imagine if i was trying to pack, post/ship the larger stuff all at the same time it could get messy  :D

Cheeeeeeeers

Paul.

that is a great collection - amazing.

A resealed Palitoy Vader sold for £75 last year so you could be looking at a fair bit for the carded stuff

I'd say that the Jabba box is more likely to fetch £50ish as they are pretty common, but otherwise I wouldn't disagree with the other guys prices.
