Howdy all,
Apologies in advance for the long-winded post!
I've recently started a new blog that celebrates vintage SW collectors, with an emphasis on the people, rather than the collectibles. There is loads more content to come, including interviews with an eclectic range of collectors well-known across the various boards. I will also provide regular updates as to what is happening in the community.
An interview will be posted in the next few days but I'm not letting the cat out of the bag just yet...

I've created these pages to increase a greater awareness to vintage star wars collecting and to the mix of people involved in the hobby. This is my way to give back to a hobby that has given me so much over the past year and a half (not long I know but it feels like 20 years).
I'm having a lot of fun writing this blog. Thanks to all of the support I have received and for the people that have liked the facebook page, subscribed to the blog and followed me on twitter. I particularly want to thank Ross.B, Matthieu.B, Stephane.F and Arwin.H for their encouragement. That in itself is a massive testament to how great this hobby is – an Aussie, a Yank, couple of Parisians and a Dutchie.
While all of these social networking formats are important to spreading the message, I'm pushing the webpage as the premier format. Not only will there be more content on this page, but this is where we will reach collectors that are not members of these forums or on facebook. It's quite easy to subscribe and to comment – just enter your email address near the top of the page. The more comments/subscribers I have, the more internet traffic I will attract.
I am looking for collectors to contribute articles so please hit me up if there is something you'd like to share or an event you attended that you'd like to report on.
Watch this space as there may be an interview request coming to you – whether you be an old school prototype hunter or a newer collector still trying to put together a set of loosies.
I will also be posting childhood photos of collectors' and their SW vintage toys. Please send me any you'd like to share.
I sincerely love this community and hopefully I can give something back to it.
