Picked up a case of childhood figures from the US recently. Never played with just just opened and put in the carry case. I moved the legs on a couple of the figures, a Lando and a Han Bespin. They were stiff like new and got to say.....there was a little crack when they shifted.

Without a doubt the term was fist used with DSDs and 3POs, but I think it's not an unreasonable thing to say about a lot of other figures, too. Does it matter to me as a collector? Past a DSD or FL 3PO, not one bit. I also thin that left for long enough and with plastic degradation then the limbs can indeed become "uncracked" again. Wasn't aware PBP figures were particularly prone to that but that's good to know.

As for putting it on a label on an AFA case? Exactly the kind of buffoonery I've come to expect from AFA.

It’s UKG not AFA, which is even more surprising.

I have a few PBP figures with the so-called uncracked limb syndrome. They will stiffen up after every significant period packed away. When you “uncrack” them they revert to their normal state which can be tight or loose depending on how much they have been played with in the past.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the AFA graded Chewbacca no Coo that you have AJ is a PBP. Can you see the Coo clearly in its acrylic case?

Just a heads up on PBP figures. NEVER try to move the head as this can often cause the torso to crack.

I can clearly see it’s UKG not AFA that have graded it.

So let me get this straight, UKG get a figure sent in, check it over and know that the limbs are uncracked without moving the limbs?.. but to find out that the limbs are uncracked i'm assuming you need to move the limbs to hear the crack, but then they've been cracked so it can't be graded as uncracked.

Am I missing something with this?

Sadly it proves grading is all about money, they would put Geisha Face Leia or Disco Boots DSC on the label if some twat paid them to do it
