Strange request but you never know. I am after a set of 24" wheels 10mm to finish this basic resto of a S&M Widowmaker I found on a scrap heap it was all brown rusty and broken. It's a rider so don't need to be show quality. Any help is appreciated

Good luck PC...

Getting somthing for a BMX that is not 20" can be a bitch...

I tried upgrading my lads 18 inch BMX wheels this summer. We found something but they didn't fit in his drop outs, then found some rims online but this means we are stuck with the old hubs, the local bike shop drew a blank so we have temporarily given up unless we spend more than the bike is worth.

I think you have a harder task ahead of you with 24's and anything that can be classed as 'old skool' will have a heavily inflated price tag.

BTW great pics, looks good for a bigger bike and a great restoration job 8)

Whats up with the current wheels?

Would it not be possible to build a cheep set on a 24" trails rim?

I'm a Bit out of touch with BMX's. Had a couple as a Kid but that was a while back...a long while back

I could do but it's a lot of hassle really. There's plenty of 24" wheels in the states but not too many over here. The wheels on there are an odd set up the back is original but is dented missing a spoke and has some axle issues, the front is a kids MTb wheels.

The cheapest it can find so far is £100 for two

Cracking resto project P.C., good arrows mate. All the best finding wheels to complete it, looks like an awesome ride, reminds me a little of my old BMX from back in the glory days. 8)
