Lego Batmobile Question

I don't really buy Lego but I might be interested in buying the 89 Batmobile that comes out this week, i'm just wondering though that there are a few on Ebay pre order for way above the retail price so just wondering are they not going to be available on the day they come out to the general public ? Thanks

If you're not a VIP member then I would suggest that you join, it's free and then order early on the first day of release for VIIP members.
I've never had any problems before.
Will you open and build or keep it un opened?

Should load this in the Lego section on the modern thread - but I grabbed the 89 on release day. It is a beast - I mean proper beast. The mini free set is in fact a full system scale model and really the best batmobile ever made by Lego, due to the scale and detail and shape etc. Have t build the big guy but I have the mini.
